OUR HISTORYFrom humble beginnings as the Deer Lodge Motel on the corner of 42nd St and Idylwyld Drive north, founder Harold Latrace saw nothing but opportunity. As in typical Saskatchewan fashion, the Travelodge was built not by one but by many. Trading skills and expertise for shares, the hotel was completed with the help of friends, family, business associates and some strangers- soon to be friends. It opened in September 1972.
